I was so excited to purchase this cute little vintage china cabinet from EBTH.com, but once in the dining room it just felt like it was begging for a little special attention. Franklin Debonair and his new high gloss green table was making the china cabinet look like a shrinking violet.
Pretty, right? But when it sets across the room from this (below), it looks like a wallflower.
What's a girl to do? What I often do - add a splash of paint!
First, degauss, then sand.
Wipe with a tack cloth and prime.
Then the fun begins! I used Sherwin Williams gloss paint that I had on hand from another project. A little brighter than I wanted, but it was available :)
So much better, right?
What do you think?
